The food was high quality and cheap for the usd. I was surprised! Outside of the golden tulip hotel close to the ICN airport there’s lots of amazing restaurants

Housing and eating out is a lot cheaper. Oil, fruits, produce are a lot more expensive. Otherwise prices are mostly comparable.

It may be cheaper but salaries are low, job timings are unbelievable and societal pressure is life threatening. And the 'legal' crime rate does exist there too. Oh ya, and job security doesn't exist, similar to usa but worse combined with other factors.

I think i will live in New York with its higher salaries and more expensive lifestyle.
