This video couldn't have been timed better! I bought a taped lidded crystal container at the thrift store today, I could hear there was something inside. Imagine my surprise when I got home and found a Trifari brooch with a blue stone!

Dalton is adorable! I am always amazed at how well he behaves in the background and keeps himself occupied. Good job Mom!

The British always call them brooch’s and Americans tend to call them pins, but they’re the same thing.

Thanks to you I found a Crown Trifari faux turquoise acorn earing and brooch set 4 days ago at my local goodwill for $14.99 and sold for $295 within 10 minutes of me posting it. I love all your videos! Very educational. I only heard of Trifari thanks to you! Again thank you so much for all the information you put out there 😀

Kat, I have some Hobe, Trifari, and Coro brooches. I have been collecting brooches for 60 years. Some of them are so beautiful. Your videos have helped me get an idea of their value. Than you so much.

I went to a thrift store in Aspen, Colorado and found a Trifari white and gold butterfly pin/brooch but it had one small stone missing. I asked how much for it? and i let the clerk know it had one missing stone, so she said, you can keep that for free. I had already made a pile of a few jewelry items, most of them sterling silver. That Trifari butterfly with “flaw” (stone missing) sold on my EBay store for $100.

21:55 the bat has ruby eyes and a diamond nose and claws. Patina covering most of it though.

Pietra dura is the style of inlay-like mosaic. It's a technique NOT a maker.

Hope that helps.

OMG the frog broach and earring set is gorgeous 😍 think it's my favorite out of all your videos 😊

G & E (the bib parure) made the Juliana pieces and like Juliana used paper tags. Pietra Dura isn’t a company but denotes the process of inlaying flat stone in designs, used for jewelry, boxes, coasters, etc.
Love your videos!

Hi Kat I love your videos! The bat brooch does have rubies and diamonds on it. The eyes are rubies and there are tiny diamonds at each point on the wings.

Delia & Eliza is the company that made the Juliana line. They also produced for a lot of other labels.

I did almost buy it when I first saw it. But that was when I was little. I remember the beauty of it. It has little ripples in the back.

In this video there is a Silver Brooch Bat Pin. Upon a closer look I did notice it has 11 diamonds on the wing tips and what looks like two ruby’s in the eyes. JFYI. Thanks for the videos. Love watching and learning.
