Maison Gripoix translates to "House of Gripoix" Augustina Gripoix was a founding designer for what we know and was to become costume jewelry she was first to melt and form colored glass by using the old furnace in her building. She also had an important relationship with Gabriel Chanel and later became business partners. In 1920 her daughter Suzanne became head of The House of Gripoix.

When my parents were antique dealers costume jewelry was considered junk! Now they can be good money. I don't sell much, but ill pick up givechy, Dior, and a few others for my daughter to sell. If I can get them cheap, there is a decent profit. If I like it I keep it 😂
