This aged well.
Not only is the B12 staying intact, it was reported about 3 weeks ago that the B12 is going to make almost the same amount of money now, as it will after ou and texas leave.

I miss the Big East in football and basketball. I get the money part for the schools but I’m old school with how it used to be with the conferences.

Texas is the biggest reason their conference impoloded. UTs ego, demanding the biggest cut of conference dollars and requiring their own channel played a big role. They were never on board for the health of their whole conference and the members of the SEC are all about the conference as a whole.

As a man who has lived in Norman Oklahoma his entire life, I can happily say: Nothing reminds me more of the Pacific Ocean than My hometown of Norman Oklahoma!

It would be exciting to have Texas and Oklahoma in the SEC but the only issue I have with the move is that the conference would be too big and the Big 12 would more then likely end up like the big east in just spreading their schools across other conference and possibly adding a few schools for other sports

This is leverage for contract negotiations with Fox, etc. OU has been unhappy with mandated early kick-off times for years and the Nebraska game time has OU exasperated. This is also about money for a new TV deal. The Big 12 needs to add between 2-6 teams for more content and so that the mid-tier teams are more highly ranked for the playoffs. The Big 12 round robin schedule is brutal for those mid-tier teams. The TV networks have not allowed the Big 12 to expand previously so this gives the Big 12 leverage to say "Give us a bigger, better, competitive TV contact and let us grow the Big 12 or we are leaving".

Texas, if you can't win the big 12... how tf are you gonna win the SEC?😂😂

Why does everyone insist that Notre Dame join the ACC?! Why not the Big Ten?! Iowa State should join the Big Ten West and Notre Dame to the Big Ten East! Both teams make sense geographically and have long established and storied rivalries already in place.

Heather obviously doesn't understand the word "disseminate". I think she means "disintegrate".

How in the world you just stop it at…”I think the NCCA will be no more” WHAT?!?!?

Heather keeps using the word “disseminate” when it seems she really means to say “disintegrate”? Or am I mishearing what she is saying?

I find it funny how all of these guys talk about Texas when Oklahoma is the only relevant Big 12 team.

UTx has destroyed 2 conferences now. I wouldn't be so quick to think a 3rd might not happen.
