Thanks - and those wondering why a video on such a simple process is needed should look at the reports of the 520 screen being broken. This has happened to many people who evidently tried to remove the back the wrong way.

one clarification, can you see the rubber in the middle of the back cover? you'll need it when you take off the back cover, simple press the back cover in the middle and peel off the back cover from the top, and viola, it'll pops out effortless and you won't damage the phone. :) hope this helps.

I put the battery in before the SD card and i don't know how to get it out. Can someone help me out?

Thanks. I didn't expect to find the answer here, BUT I DID, AND IT WAS EASY. Now I don't have to throw the damned thing away. Thanks again. However, I have to wonder why the phone doesn't say Lumia anywhere. I just learned that an RM-975 is a Lumnia, but it doesn't say that on the phone. Damn Nokia.
