What’s up SchwartzForce, sorry for the late comment I’m out fishing and the reception is terrible here, hope y’all enjoy the video! 🎣

Well….I’m usually annoyed easily and inpatient during tutorials. But this is the first one I didn’t have those feelings. Such a relief. And your voice, composure, timing and helpfulness allowed me to actually learn how to do this. Basically you didn’t waste my precious time. Thank you.

Thanks! I would've never noticed that little lid if it weren't for this video. Also the rest of the instructions are very clear and useful!

I did it! Just changed my first watch battery!!! You made it safe and easy. Thank you sooo much! Now I want to tackle removal of a few links.😳

In the first press-on watch back example, it would have been good to also mention that along with the little tab you use to pop off the back, there is also a little depression or 'carve out' on the rim of the case back to allow room for the stem of the crown. Yours went on easily because you put the tab in the same spot it was when you removed it, and so that little carve out was also in the right spot over the crown stem. For anyone who tries to just put the back on in 'any old way', they could damage the crown's stem if the space for it on the watch back is not aligned properly.

OMG THANK YOU! I was trying to remove the back of an all sterling Italy Milor watch to see if it just needs a battery replacement to resell but didn't want to scratch it! That plastic tip was EXACTLY what helped me!

I love the plastic suggestion. I’ll definitely used it from now on. One comment: most of those tool kits come with another tool for Snap down case backs. It smaller, almost T shaped. The edge is more blunt but it actually works better then the knife style tool. It is safer for you and the watch and works surprisingly well.

Thank-you for your helpful video! I have a Timex (snap back) watch. I carefully removed the back with a small pocket knife. After replacing the battery, I placed the watch on a thin foam pad. I then popped the back on with a small vitamin bottle, bottle cap on top of watch back. Luckily, I had a bottle lid that was virtually the same diameter as the watch back. I didn't think it would be so easy! All the best.

Very useful, thanks! I've had a watch repair kit for ages and didn't know how to use it as it didn't come with instructions, so this filled in the blanks for me.

I did use a knife but this is the 1 video that helped with my plastic back watch. Never would have thought to turn it sideways

Thank you! I had a little jewelry bag and cut it for the thicker plastic and lol used the backside of my utility knife (dull side), found the spot and click, it was open:)

Hey Junior, does this mean I should not be using a crowbar anymore.

I really enjoyed this episode!

Your content has really improved a lot since day one. Good to see the growth in the quality of your videos 🙂

Very good tutorial btw. Clear, concise, straight to the point, no clickbait, no needless monologue to pad the running time of the video. Unlike some YouTubers who seem to be in love with their voice

Great job and keep it going

Actually, sometimes, the most difficult job is to snap back the cover. When does not go by a thumb pushing it required another sound-science solution: place the cover in the freeze for a few minutes in order to contract the circumference and then it will go by an easy push.

For some watches you will need a special tool. Many press on casebacks will not open like this. Similarly when closing them you also need a specialized tool.

I bought the Jorest Watch Battery Replacement Tool Kit, followed your instructions, which I may add were super good, but I could not get the back off! It is super tight, any suggestions?
