Funny that the OG mask was on a budget and it became so iconic that a decent Myers mask is so pricey these days

The captain Kirk mask was already horrifying enough lol

I always thought Michael Myers looked a bit like William Shatner.

This is the reason why low budget movies, always often have the best potential if they have good writing to go with it.

"good evening I'm Michael Myers and I have severe physical problems and I'm going to take them out on you" got me rolling 😂

It’s so perfect because no other mask purchased or homemade would have looked as cool!

Knew this years ago. It’s amazing what one iconic mask can be changed into another and be one even more iconic!

More than that was done to the Kirk mask.

The blonde straightened hair was removed and replaced with frizzy hair that git spray painted dark brown. The face was sprayed white, painted with tints of grey and for wear detailing. The eyebrows were completely ripped off and lastly the eyeholes were expanded, that was how just 5 moves created the most known and iconic horror face and mask in history of the halloween season.

But it's not just about the mask. Imagine Myers' attire wasn't the most everyday use of gear for almost all tasks it wouldn't have looked right.

I don't think workman overalls would've went well instead of coveralls in editions to what you're eyes first see and grew up seeing is what you'll stick by if someone ever tried changing Myers' outfit.

If you havent seen or heard of it, i highly recommend checking out "The Devil's Rain", a 1975 horror film starring William Shatner that has a scene where he loses his eyes, even does a slight head tilt a la Michael, and supposedly a mold of his face from that scene was used for the Captain Kirk mask used as Michael's mask

The best horror starts with tight budget with the right director.

When I first saw Halloween ll in theatre, the mask reminded me of someone and I just couldn't figure it out. The mask looked creepy and terrifying and later I learned that the mask was originally William Snatner.

The 1978 Halloween is just as good as the 1974 Texas chainsaw massacre. Those two movies of the greatest horror movies in the history of Cinema.

That's actually a mold of Shatner from DEVIL'S RAIN
