I was looking for the part 2 of actually installing the door frame.. He makes it look easy besides destroying everything.. I have no experience and i need to remove all my bedroom doors, bathroom doors, and closet doors and install them too..

Im doing some bathroom work. My bathroom is attached to my main room. In order to increase space on both sides, I am going with a barn door. I wanted to know after I remove the door and door frame. What should I do next to make it look like a normal walkway? Im a beginner and this is a small project for this spring.

Is there are a non-destructive way of doing this? I have a 100 year old home that I'm trying to restore while keeping as much of the original materials intact as I can. One of its problems is that there's not a single door in the entire house which is still square. I've already shimmed/bent the hinges back into place but - in many cases - the whole frame has gotten out of alignment.

use a step stool, and take your time, you'll preserve more trim, the top piece went bad because you had to reach, the other side went bad, because you got frustrated,

I needed this. My bathroom frame has water damage from the toilet Bursting and wont close the door anymore 😅
