3 Diagrams to Add to Your Business Requirements Document

When you create a traditional Business Requirements Document (BRD) to capture your business and/or functional requirements, you'll often end up with a long document and lots (and lots) of text.

Adding a few diagrams to your BRD can make it more impactful and easier to understand. You'll get better feedback from your stakeholders and be able to validate your requirements more quickly.

You'll discover:
*How a Business Requirements Document can be text heavy (and why I personally no longer create BRDs).
*How a System Context Diagram can provide a quick snapshot view of the system and how it fits together with other systems in your organization.
*How a Business Process Diagram can show the big picture of how the processes related to the scope of your project.
*How a Scope Model, or functional decomposition diagram, can show the high-level components or features of the system covered in the BRD.
*How to get the swipe files of 22 visual models (including these 3) in our Visual Model Sample Pack.
