To be fair, alot of us pikers have been doing the same on the quiet for ages. Don't get me wrong, that was a great vid, it's just like the old saying, 'There's nothing new in fishing.' It is a fantastic method that can be used on any sized bait, but I prefer it on bigger baits.

Just use frozen dead roach or chub, they're naturally buoyant, no need to piss around with the end rig. Fish them straight off the lead popped up. I've caught loads of pike with that method, including quite a few 20's. Pike fishing does not need to be complicated.

So let’s say you lose the pike but the bait remains part way in the pikes stomach. That elastic then snaps leaving the pike with 2 foam balls to digest? Great rig but the elastic for me is a risk for the fish?

Size 6 to 8 elastic and korum pellet stops for the end cap on the foam balls.

What bait needle is that? It's hard to find a really long one like that.

You said that you were using a medium and a small poly ball. However there is no small poly ball in the range so I'm assuming what you meant was a medium and a large? Also, I did a poly ball wire with 1 medium and 1 large and the 5gr weight is not able to balance the bait on the bottom, it still pops up to the surface.

INTERESTING, however, ready-made sets with accessories in one package would be needed here, I am not able to collect all the small elements to make such a set. Alternatively, for every single element shown in the video, even the smallest ones, there should be links to a store or catalog below the video.
