If we weren't wasting space and time on ev's, and opened up our energy industry and built some new refineries. It's been 40 plus years since the last one was built with the keystone pipeline and all oil leases opened up for production also only winter and summer blends of gasoline.
The price of gas would be about 65 cents a gallon like it was before we started the war for so called oil in 1991. So the average 4 door economy car getting 35 miles per gallon 9 gallons that's 305 miles. The bonus of drilling for our oil is hundreds of thousands high paying jobs the price of oil drops below 20 dollars and Russia is bankrupt and the war is over. Also the environmental disasters of open pit mining using slave, and child labor in toxic conditions just so you can brag about your coal powered environmentally destroying un recyclable car is sad and shows how stupid society is. The only Reason government wants electric cars is that they can control whether you can drive anywhere if you don't behave. Wake up people
