It's a good philosophy if the company has a positive atmosphere. It's different when a company breeds a toxic environment. Pros and Cons to both.

Ramsey is an old school guy. His method and things of doing things are old school in a way. It's perfect for young workers to be honest, the ones with no family

I agree and disagree with him. Me personally I kept the same lunch, and break schedules. I also have a job where I can't work in a beach, because there are too many moving parts. I also go into the office twice a week, so I'm getting the social work interaction I need. Some people are more productive working from home, and some are not in my opinion. You can have team events to bring that same social networking we need as well within your teams.

1100 x 13 seconds is a lot of unproductive time and further goes to show why remote workers can be more productive. All the statistics show that remote workers produce more than in office employees and that it saves companies money by allowing employees to work remotely.
When I worked in office that was my biggest complaint TOO MANY DISTRACTIONS. Between meetings and ppl stopping by your desk constantly (even if it’s work related) rarely did I have a day where I felt I optimized my time.

Personally I think Dave may be a control freak and is narrow minded and not open to new ideas.

There is enough advanced technology that you can wfh and still feel like you’re working in office.

1:10 I considered that a plus. 13 seconds for an executive leader becomes hours for the staff, who research your “bright idea.” I worked as a C-level EA in an org with 75k employees. I used to get phone calls all the time asking for “the boss’ pulse” on those good ideas. Self-awareness is the most valuable leadership trait you can have, this guy is dangerous because he doesn’t seem to have any…but thinks he does.

Yeaah open office, 3000 people and everyone wanna talk and bounce ideas... i personally find that I'm way more productive working from home.
That being said, working from home doesn't work for everyone, you gotta have the mindset to do it.
I have also been places where people are good at bouncing ideas over teams and such, so can definitely work.

There are positives and negatives to both methods.

I’ve been in remote work since the panny started and it’s been the best thing ever. Never messes with my performance and productivity and so much better for mental health and gas tank. I love Dave but his opinion does not fit for all

He just wants to be able to run the personal lives of his employees. Like when he fired that woman for getting pregnant out of wedlock. Also, this is business, why are people shooting each other with nerf guns at the office? So many red flags in one video.

Dave is not right about everything. I believe he supported Donald Trump...and maybe still does. However, he is entitled to his opinion. Remote may not work with young people who want to socially interact with people their own ages but with older people who have experience in running offices, they certainly know how to run one from their homes and can do it successfully.

he is describing small business and entrepreneurial culture. Maybe tech industry until you get laid off over zoom. Everyone is else who works the entry to mid level corporate America job, is scratching their heads. You bring a nerf gun to your corporate bank job, you get detained and everyone else gets to work from home.

Funny how some ppl think just because they can’t work remotely nobody can.. you’re all too narrow-minded. Remote work works amazing for some people, even though it might not work for others..

For me I can say it saves me cash, gas, parking, buying meals, and lots of hours in traffic.
