Nice! I am so tempted to build a large quadcopter now. Time to start saving! Thanks for your super simple PID tuning guide by the way, it was very helpful.

I'm not sure why you're using scare quotes around "space limitations." The 8 bit apm platform is end of life now; for every feature they consider adding with ardupilot / etc, they have to consider the size of their codebase and take out lesser used features elsewhere. Perhaps you should educate yourself through the diydrones or rcgroups forums. Even the original pixhawk is approaching eol; newer platforms like the pixracer are the current top end right now (and theres a million third party pixhawk builds if you really don't want to support 3dr - the holybro ones I've heard good things about)

I like the way you think! Apm doesn’t have enough room. Lmao. Yeah I didn’t fall for that either. Unfortunately most have. This guys have turned into greedy basturds and it’s all about the dollar to them. I actually prefer Apm over pixhawk any day! I don’t buy there products anymore but if I did it would most likely be any clone Apm 2.6 would be fine. I’m not falling for there of you have to have this to get this to work crap! I’m actually starting to like the inav stuff and also I’ve purchased a eagle tree vector which is closed source but hell what do I care as long as it works and it works freaking amazingly! Osd on board everything is all in one! No need to buy extra stuff from the ProficCNC hex jerks. I mean come on !!! $90 for a simple gps module!! That’s what these idiots want for there Here GPS! What a joke! In the past year I’ve seen a lot of folks leaving the old 3DR /pixhawk stuff and moving on to other flight board platforms. The drama that you have to deal with when deal with there products is insane.
