yea you should probably check out vintage story (chiseling already included) that one is actually a hardcore survival tho so you better know how to make charcoal, realistic farming or have the patience for clay forming and to wait for it to harden on a kiln and so much things that are realistic. the devs really said "no, you are not gonna conquer the world you are gonna be part of it, now make some crucibles you still have to melt and cast that copper and you better have made some charcoal cause copper smelting point is at 1030~ and wood only burns at 700 and btw you need to make some tongs with some stick or your obviously gonna burn and drop it if you take it with your hand"

hi! awesome video! i've been wanting to get into chisels & bits and this is helping a lot.
a couple questions as i'm going to primarily use this mod in creative

are the patterns needed when working in creative? or does the middle mouse button to pick the block work?
and how about the modification table? or are there options to do it easier in creative?
any other advice/tips you have for using this mod in creative?

i desperately wish you could move bits within a block. like for example right now i’m trying to make a campfire out of bamboo, because the texture in the block of bamboo is perfect for the logs of the campfire. but i can’t just download a mod that adds a bamboo campfire because i specifically wanna do this with a variant of bamboo from this other mod i have that’s slightly different color. BUT the texture for the individual bamboo logs on the bamboo blocks starts at the very edge, while the texture of the logs for the campfire starts one bit inwards. i really really wish i could just cut out one individual bamboo log, and then select the whole thing and just move it one bit over. then id do that four more times at different spots and orientations, then use the already existing combine feature to create the campfire. this is literally the only feature thats making this goal impossible and its driving me crazy 😭

First of all, thank you so much for this video. I was used to add this mod to my collection, but seems like he don't work well on 1.20.4, you can chisel bit by bit, but lines & extrusion don't work anymore. Do you have an idea why?

for some reason i get the message [ chiseling: not supported- has custom collision] which doesnt allow me to use the chisel station, i also get some bug that doesnt allow me to place schematics saying i dont have enough bits, even though i have a ful pouch and inventory of the bits needed

The R button to change the mode doesn't appear due to me having a gun mod that has R to reload
but I changed that keybind yet the options wont show up. How do I fix it?
