Unusual long single-angle in this fight scene, 15 seconds from one angle... I like it, you can really follow the moves and it's excellent choreagraphy. These guys really trained hard to do this. In most movies/series, fight scenes are cut up way too much. You can't follow the moves. Often it's also filmed way too close and dark. Here you can see the whole thing.

It's what we do. Warrior's death.

Duncan learned that finishing move from Paul Kinman.

The sword that Haresh Clay uses is a Turkish Ottoman Karabela sword, I think. The handle is very distinctive.

the best swordfight in cinema. miyamoto musashi will like this variation of his two sword technique.

Duncan always give or gave immortals or some immortals a chance either to die or to live. Few immortals like MacLeod do that Mac Leod a man of principles intergrity and honor.

This is one of the best fight scenes in the series. Just as good as Delongis.

I wonder how the directors of john wick would do a fight scene like this.

0:47 that position is extremely vulnerable to being disarmed, all Duncan has to do is an anticlockwise circular motion with his sword and Clay's sword goes flying.

You should have said who Haresh Clay was and when he was born to better understand the plot. IMO this was a good guy.

I think when he beheaded Martin Hyde that gave Duncan a big edge. ☠️

Japanese katana vs Turkish kilij
But Duncan's finishing move, using reverse grip, is kinda fictional to me, cmiiw

Wonder what a prime harsh vs a prime Xavier st cloud fight would have looked like. I know harsh lost this one but you could tell his approach was technique mixed with constant pressure

Harsh Clay isn’t really a villain at worse he’s a jaded antihero
