My BC Bikepacking Adventure

In September 2021 I set off on a 2 week bike-packing adventure. First time bike-packing and first time travelling on my own. I started north up the Sunshine Coast, then down the east coast of Vancouver Island, stopping off at different islands along the way. My final stop was Salt Spring Island, which coincided with an annual apple pick on my friends' property. Door-to-door, I travelled over 750km with lots of ups and downs (figuratively and literally). Beyond happy I did it, not only for the wonderful sights, but to prove to myself that I could do it. I had my camera with me and did my best at documenting the best bits.

I also recorded and mixed the music. Another project I'm quite proud of. A cover from the soundtrack of my favourite video game, Outer Wilds. Shoutout to the composer Andrew Prahlow.

Video is shaky at times and the mix is ok. It's not perfect, but if this trip taught me anything....nothing is.
