Well, now when you see all the 90s summ-up, while many being revolutionary for that time, you can clearly see why Steve had to come back

A lot of people think the iPhone is the greatest invention ever made…I’m going to say it may end up being the worst thing the world has ever known. …It’s created an addiction of so many things…social media, photos, videos, scrolling 24/7, unable to look at people and have conversations, destroying kids, blah blah blah. There are days I want to just throw this phone in the trash and just be done with social media..and I just can never do it. I always feel like I’ll miss out on something….

The Apple Portrait Display did not use active matrix LCD, it was a CRT B&W Display.

*Apple actually introduced the airpods with the first iPhone. It was black and had longer stems. It wasn't called airpods. It never got any attention.*

*It was called Bluetooth headset.*

*Can you do a review of it?*

If you watch the original iPhone introduction, they showed accessories during the launch and this was one of them.

The Message Pad and E-Mate were both ahead of their time. Unfortunately, they were also a bit ahead of the available technology of the day and never quite delivered the promise of a portable hand held device. Still, they were good attempts that surely lead to the iPhone and iPad.

The only ones I didn’t know about were the shoes and watch. I’ve actually used a QuickTake and a Mac TV before. I’ve been an Apple fan since the early 90s so I have seen a lot of their products come and go.

Would the G4 Cube or the XServe be considered failures?

Remember using the quick take camera and that portrait monitor. First apple I used was a Macintosh 512K connected to an imagewriter.

At that time, I did not even know that Apple exists. I'm not from the US and I was born in 1986. Internet access was a luxury, life was pretty easy and Whitney and Mariah were at the very top of the music industry.

My first digital picture was taken with a QuickTake 100 back in middle school. Had a 200 in the late 90s.

I bought the Apple Camera 150 in 1996. As you said, the quality was poor. My young grandsons had a lot of fun with it a couple of years later.

I have another one that never made it to the market. Before SCSI days, Apple developed their own Hard Disk Drive with a floppy interface meant for Mac Plus. I have one of those drives given to me by my old boss at Jasmine, who got it from one of the Apple guys. It's a bit larger than the old 5.25" form factor with slightly thinner profile. They realized that putting the SCSI on the computer would yield so much better and cheaper drives than manufacturing their own.

And what about the Power Mac G4 Cube? Introduced in the summer of 2000 it was " indefinitely suspended " in July 2001... Too much expensive for a Mac that was expandable on paper and not so powerful or comparable to a Power Mac. BTW just 3 and half years later arrived the son of " The Cube ": Mac Mini!! 🙂

I knew about all of these honestly
There was also a QuickTake 200, not just the 100 and 150.
