Did you know that Florida Tax Liens turn into Tax Deed Auction buying opportunities? Also, Tax Deeds that do not catch a bid sometimes end up on the lands available list, also known as the Over-the-Counter "OTC" Tax Deeds. If your lucky, you can find hidden gems on these list.

In Florida the "tax sale" happens in two ways. First, is the annual Tax Lien sale. Here, you are only bidding on high interests bearing liens, called tax certificates. These liens do not give you ownership, but give you an opportunity to gain interest income.

To gain ownership in a property in Florida, investors would need to participate in the other "tax sale" called the monthly county Tax Deed Auctions. These auctions are conducted monthly in each county. Some counties like Putnam county have hundreds of properties each month, while other counties may only have one property a month. Bidders that win in the auction will take ownership via a Tax Deed.

Did you know you can earn income from your Tax Deeds when you sell your properties. Sure you did, its called flipping properties. To earn the most income from your tax deed properties, you might need to file a quiet title suit. This will make your title more marketable to buyers and give you more cash in your pocket.
