I generally agree, except for number 1. I rarely buy clothes, but when I do, it's the cheap brands. Most of my friends spend more time and money buying nicer clothes. I don't see the value in that. I'd rather spend my money on more important things, like investments.

I realize I may appear as a poor person to some, because I almost never renew my wardrobe. I drive an old car. I have no fancy things at all. But I can save more than half my income, and have invested it and am now making even more.

The only thing I buy that is of higher quality is food. Because health is important, so I'm willing to spend more on that.
