Been thinking about putting a BOV on my MKV for that sounds. Found diverter valve spacers do the same thing (basically) and you don't lose HP. The spacer still allows the diverter to maintain manifold pressure reducing spool time while also giving you that sweet sweet Pshew! Sound we all love.

Austin, great job. Suggestion, with all due respect:
If you are promoting a mod for a functional aspect of the car please learn what it does, how it does it and why. If not the only reason to do it is because you said so or you like spending money just for the bling of it.
I will spend the coin but I gotta have a good reason. And you get that knowing the details, science and tech will get you bigger pay checks, make you hotter for the girls and is why we subscribe to you. Don’t short it, shrug and move on. Great videos happen when you loose the “I’m not sure why jive”.
1-Cool air intake
What-This mod provides the coolest air available for the engine
Why-Engine gets much more HP with cold air versus hot
How-The turbo pushes compressed air into the cyl. Eng saves HP b/c it is not required to use some to suck the air in. The more air(compresses now) means more O2(oxygen) which is required to make the fuel go bang, more O2 higher the pressure better go fast.
Hot air has very energetic molecules. Less room for O2, less pressure generated less HP. Cold air has much more useable volume so more O2, better bang, efficient. Dry air even better, water takes up valuable O2 volume, more O2 in the mix ratio, higher pressures more HP. Extra horsies all over this mod.
This example may be what you want to shoot for. Plenty of places to add your styling. Less is more. We are here for the 411 not the chatter/banter, like most other tubers do.
With this in mind pick a system on the car *see video topic list below* and with this treatment and good word economy the Likes, Subs and Girls will appear out of no where.
Any questions you have about the science in the tech, or other do not hesitate to email me - djlock at gmail, text or call
Six1nine six3four 6four88. Say it’s Austin. I got your back.
Video ideas:
Fuel, lubrication, cooling, aerodynamics, braking, tools(which ones like bolt splitter or and easy-out or torque wrench...how to use them, purchase them new or used-Swapmeet/garage sale, Loctite, penetrating oil, other consumables, fixing paint nicks scratches, upholstery, various adjustments, fuel/oil additives-just say no, no, no...maybe tires
Please know there are so many people that want this info.
With your natural talent and the What, Why and How giving the science and tech understanding you will be racking in the loot.

I have a 2006 mk5 GTI that I bought new. I have kept it nearly stock. It is a very pleasant car to travel in so I stay away from modifications that make the car noisier. I got APR stage 1 years ago and its makes the car fast, but I quit using it because I would rather the car be less jumpy than go faster when floored. The two modifications I would recommend for mk5 GTI owners is to upgrade the stereo to one with bluetooth, usb input, and android auto/apple carplay if desired, and an extra set of wheels and snow tires if you live in a snowy environment.

Hello, fellow 08 MK5 owner here. That's a mighty fine ride you have there, sir. Unfortunately I have a DSG, so it's pointless installing a BOV in my car. I love the sound though.

Watched your video about a year Ago and fell in love with this car and I’m proud to say I’ve had my mk5 2007 (silver) GTI for 3 months now and I can’t wait to put a cold air intake on it this weekend😈

You should totally make your bumper the same color as the rest of the car, it literally makes the car look so much better :), overall very nice car tho

I would have been highly disappointed with that BOV purchase tbh I know I’m late af lol but I recommend spending a lot more on one the sound is so much crisper

springs don't cause the bouncy ride, it's the lack of shock rebounding control
