Actually in Brazil Apple tanghulu is a traditional candy for middle year cultural parties and is called maçã do amor(apple of love)

In Taiwan tanghulu is usually strawberries and/or little tomatoes! But my favorite one is tanghulu made from those tiny Chinese pears (nashi/sand pears?)
