@1:58 creating a rectangle object and put attributes in it and convert it to a block
@6:19 open block editor to add dimensional constraints
@7:47 link the dimensional parameters so when they change they keep the area
@7:51 add an area parameter to control the ratio between length and width
@10:10 put dimensional constraints on the room name txt to stay in the middle of the room
@14:45 adding fields to the mtxt to input length and width

I think the formula should be (RNAMEV/2)-*position lower than room text*
let's say the square is 25m2 then the room text coordinate is at 2500, 2500
so it's in the middle. then the position of dimension text lower than room text, between 2500, 1500 coordinate. So the answer is (RNAMEV/2)-1500 (position adjust to your liking)

I am trying to do a similar block, I like to use bubble diagrams and want to try them in autocad. I'd like the bubbles to be representative of the room size; for example, a 144 square foot room would be a bubble that fits inside a 12'x12' square. I can get this to work using a simple circle with attributes, by constraining the circle to a square that’s on a non-plot layer, but I like my bubbles to have a little flair to them and that’s where I get lost. I’m thinking the scale action on just the bubble and the flair parts (background mask, and a shadow line) and not the attributes, but i can't figure out how to get the bubble to scale to the correct size bubble. Any help you could give would be appreciated!

I get a notification that the CAD block is not fully constrained, and I noticed you get the same warning in your video too. Do you have any issues with the title of your blocks just flying off the block after a couple of resizes? I'm having this problem and am wondering if it's got to do with the constraint issue.

HI nice tips and videos! Unfortanatly we get always some errors AutoCAD2021 when we want tu use the dyanmic parameters as variable in the parameter expressions. What we are missing to use that functions?

Great Video! How do you have it not constrained by Room SF.? So that you have a vertical grip and a horizontal grip for the roomL and roomW in the end
