"15 Hours" series :: a look into a typical (or at times, unusual) "day in the life" of an athlete, entrepreneur, etc in the running/outdoor industry.

"The Struggle Ends When the Gratitude Begins"
| a quote Obstacle Course Racing Champion Amelia Boone leaned on when at the zenith of her endurance career in 2016, a stress fracture in her femur would sideline her for the next two years. Fast forward to February 3, 2018 as she toed the line of her first ultramarathon back at the Sean O'Brien 100K, Amelia reflects back on being injured and her newfound gratitude and perspective on running.

Absolutely brilliant. It's crazy how much pressure we put on ourselves for a race (even us average runners do it). This is a good reminder to not let racing take the away from the joy of running. It's important to take a break and just run for the sake of running.

Once again, Billy. You have a fan for life. Love that you’re getting support for your work. Couldn’t be more deserved.

"racing is a celebration of all the training done"
my favorite quote from any runner so far!

Just what I needed after a weekend of training and a week of training ahead. I have realized that I love running for running and I rather train the rest of my life than race. Running is a beautiful thing.

"Racing is the celebration of the training that you've been able to do". What a great twist on how to approach race day. Really inspiring. Thank you, Amelia. And thank you, as always, Billy!

This is what has brought me right back to my greatest love, running and the beauty of it.

Another great film from Billy Yang. Billy has a gift for finding messages that resonate and mixing those with beautiful videos. If I hadn't just gotten back and cleaned up from a hot, long run, I'd be out again running right now, for the love of running.

Seeing the way the sport of ultra running is growing and not able to see Amelia Boone on the starting lines just pisses off, the energy she possess is just way out of the league. Queen of pain & wisdom. AMELIA BOONE THE LEGEND.! <3

9-10 months out with injury with a few set backs so far. Really keeps me motivated to come back. Absolutely for the training miles. Thanks for the inspiration

I love how you capture the person's heart and soul Billy! And Amelia, you said it best, naps are a waste of time! Even if you were only a child. Thank you both for being inspiring!

"... It's just this moving meditation..." The most accurate description yet, on why a lot of us run.
