I think it could help to prevent jowls around the jawline area. When I do them for 60 seconds or so I feel a nice "burn' around the jawline and neckline similar to the feeling of muscle burn when lifting weights.

I believe that this particular excersise could cause vertical lip wrinkles. Try facial excersises that don't make you wrinkle continuously 😘

I have been doing this excercise a little differently ( head much more bent backwards) for about a year now and yes in my case I did make a big difference in my jawline. I was very impressed as I saw results after a couple of weeks

Although this particular exercise is not recommandable, there are other face exercises that do work. I follow koko hayashi. She is the living proof that face yoga does work if done correctly

It does I have been doing face exercises for 20 years. People tell me I look the same as 20 years ago, so it does work. Consistency is the key though.

It works and it wouldn't be millions of Asian people doing it. If it was just some baloney yes they get plastic surgery where lots of makeup use circle lenses but also these exercises do work I've seen a difference I have OCD I do this religiously and it works as good as when I squeeze my glutes sorry for poor wording I have dyslexia I love your channel btw keep doing your passion's ❤️🩷🤍💎💛☀️🌤️👼🏿👼👼🏻

Dr Ranjani, although you wont be trying that specific facial exercise in the video, are you in favour of facial exercises; to help tone up the facial muscles, thus directly impacting youthful appearance?
Or are you not in favour of all facial exercises, and think this has negligible affect on maintaining a youthful appearance?

I do face yoga exercises to strengthen the muscles on my face and neck. I still have wrinkles and lose skin from where I lose 60 lbs this passed school year 2022-2023. But between eat a cleaner diet face yoga hydraulic acid and sunscreen in the morning before work. I have been getting compliments on my face. My skin is a lot more clean. No more redness. Oh my 70 years old and my son in law mother asked if I was a model. Ha ha. I’m sure she was just being polite.

Hi Doc Rajani...I have done a sort of similar exercise for the past 5 years(without puckering the mouth as this woman does) . I used to have more prominent jowls, now they are much less and jaw line is much firmer. I also do to each side 50x50x50. I must add, I also do other facial exercises and have done all up 10 years...I have a small jawline and they have definitely helped me..

Holding a spoon in the mouth kind of work my jawline. I'm 53 no sagging, no wrinkles and never did much to help my youth besides sunscreen. I think now maybe things will change I'm on that curve down DrRajani 😆 🤣 😂 hope the spoon helps.

People varies, some work on others, some aren't..just like massaging the face, some people don't advice massaging face as it would trigger more wrinkles and sagging while some people benefit on facial massage and even used gua sha and it works 🌺🌹

I do some very light facial exercises not more than thrice a week, which visibly tones up the skin.I know, because when I skipped them for a few months durinng covid infection, the skin looked a bit saggy.
There are some Yoga postures that have the side benefit of toning the neck, double chin and jowls.Since I have maintained a slim body throughout my life, I think my skin is okay now.Let's see what happens after 60!

I think some face exercise are effective. But others are bad as they over stretch your skin and break collagen. If you exercise a muscle it will increase in size and become stronger. Right? But also repeated motion can form wrinkles in face. If someone try it make sure you choose a good exercise that doesn't stretch skin or form wrinkles.

You couldn’t pay me to do that 😂, It messes with other face features unfortunately and skin stretching. If anything, possibly age face faster

IT IS possible that it works a bit. Muscles are Muscles...but If I would train this, maybe, that my small Face with less Fat and strong Masseter Muscles and "hard Joints of my Jawline" can become more smaller and stronger looking as now!?
