Another option for the rune is actually Weakness instead of Brutal based of the whole build because Akali can utilize that rune abusively, basically it's a free eternal of half Champion rune and if you combine it with Conqueror and Liandry, you'll deal tons. And you don't need Sweet tooth if you're good at her. Just pick Hunter - Genius or Mastermind for Baron lane, could try Pathfinder for midlane if your enemy is good at roaming. You can also buy Teleport instead of Stasis since it's a better option for Soloqueue. And also the boots i won't recommend merc threads that much even though it gives 55% Tenacity combined with Hunter - Titan but it's a bad MR item and you don't have any vamp in this build set. So if you want you to use Merc then you should get Gunblade, because if you're not building Gunblade, at least makes Glutten boots/you can also add Hunter - Vampirism rune. And for a specifically Soloqueue purpose, you can add Lich bane on your build to push turrets because you just have to do everything by yourself, 1v9 is pain so noone push the turrets. sometimes i build awakened soulstealer to abuse my ult cooldown especially if i go baron against Nasus, Darius and other tanky champions, it makes ur ult cd reduce alot if u killed an enemy so whenever u killed ur enemy laner and go back to lane u have ur ult already to kill them again.

If u want to try her but scared to use at classic, lock her if u get on ARAM. shes pretty useful and it can improve your play with trying with real people instead of ai.

I only go conq when theres like 2 tanks.
Usually an R1-Q-E1-E2-Q-R2 will kill anyone, dont even need to R2 sometimes

my main build with akali is lich bane, boots(depending on who im laning against), infinity orb, rabadons, liandries, then void staff or a def item.
i go lich bane first because of how cheap it is and the passive synergizes well with akali's passive.

my runes would be either fleet foot work or conqueror depending if i am against ranged or melee enemies.

i use the same build but i might switch guardian angel out for spirit visage or void staff with lich bane depending on enemy team comp, and for runes i usually go for conqueror, brutal, regeneration and pathfinder. i also use ignite and flash and take akali mid. with the regeneration rune i can stay quite long in lane if i need to
