For anyone who's still having trouble setting up collaboration view (using your phone as a toolbar/pallet) and have followed all the steps to the t please do the following... turn your tab to light mode... I'm not kidding this feature is not yet supported in dark mode. Hope this helps

Will admit that these Tab S8 models are some gigantic powerhouses but I may just stick with the Tab S7+ at the moment. So surprised that the S22 and the Tab S8 are both getting some enthusiasm at the same time that pre-orders are being overloaded! Thank you for this video

I use samsung notes like evernotes since it's already baked into my Note 20 Ultra (and most Samsung phones I believe). Now I've found a way to install samsung notes on non-Samsung PCs. The trick is (as of this moment) is to go to the Microsoft store using YOUR PHONE | Search for "samsung notes microsoft store" on google search. I won't post the link here.

1. Click on the search results resembling the site address

2. Login to the Microsoft store (yes, you need to have login to a Microsoft account to get this to work)
3. Make sure you're logged in on your PC's Microsoft Store too
4. Click "get"
5. Click "install" and choose your PC in the list of devices.
6. check your PC, it should be installed or in the process of it.
7. Launch Samsung notes and login to your Samsung account.

You don't need the Microsoft account to be logged in to run the app after installation process so, enjoy.

On my tab it says the option is selected to use phone as toolbar, but grayed out. I can't figure out how to get it on my phone. Bluetooth is connected and permissions are active. Any help would be great!

Too bad this is not working on Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Galaxy Note 10+ as they both now have Android 12, OneUI 4.1 :( So sad that samsung is limiting those features.

I have tab s8+ and s22+. sadly s22+ dont support this feature for now. hopefully samsung will enable it soon

Don't get why its not available for s22 s22 + s21 s21 + because it's not like you need a pen to change the colour on the phone that can just be done with your finger

I did those steps, but on my S8 Ultra the option to "use phone as toolbar" is greyed out, but appears to be turned on. But when I create a new document, I don't see the icon. :(

mine doesnt an only allows wifi tethering when bluetooth is on

Collaboration view was available for me briefly and now it's gone. The option is selected in the settings and Bluetooth wise they are paired...am I doing something wrong?

Greetings. Can you please tell me if I can WIRED connect it to my windows pc though the type C port? Is it supported? Or only wireless 2nd display available?
