Making REALITY FALLS with clay & a cup lid – Fortnite Battle Royale

We are creating another POI from the latest Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3: The Reality Falls with the magnificent Reality Tree. The landscape and tree are created with polymer clay, liquid clay and wire while the spere effects will be created with a cup lid. Any recommendations for beginners?, like cheaper clay as I will mess up ALOT, tool set recommendations? And any tips for tricky shapes and builds. Ty in advance :)

For a challenge try making either rave cave or lotious logjam, make it so the 4 possible biomes for it are all combned in 4 sections
