Watch: Putin Drives New Russian Lada Aura Car To Inaugurate Moscow-St Petersburg Highway

On July 16, Russian President Vladimir Putin was seen driving a new, Russian-made Lada Aura car to attend the inauguration ceremony for the latest section of the Moscow-St. Petersburg toll road, which bypasses the city of Tver.

When asked by reporters about his thoughts on the car, Putin expressed his satisfaction with the vehicle.

During the event, Putin stated that the Russian state-owned Avtodor company, responsible for road construction and management, is actively engaged in rebuilding the transport infrastructure in Russia-controlled areas of Ukraine, including the Donbass, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

He also mentioned that Russia is constructing a road route that will connect Europe and China via Kazakhstan.
