I loved your presentation. I have one comment. I feel like public "participation" is still today seen as a small part of the process and in practice the public is merely informed of the integrated management plan. If we first take note of the values of the community members and use those to influence policy or at least show how they are addressed in policies that are developed, we empower the people and achieve a stronger buy-in, therefore facilitating stronger support on the part of our communities.
