You don't see many videos about whether Russia, China or N Korea could survive a nuclear war (the answer is that they can't).
But as for the UK - no, we wouldn't survive a nuclear war. But then our enemies also can't: and anyone who bunkers down for approx 20 years will emerge to a totally devastated world where living will be impossible.
One or two tactical nukes chucked at each other - yeah, maybe (although still a load of devastation).
But anyone 'properly' attacking the UK (and its nuclear submarines, and also NATO) is immediately signing their own death warrant.

Switzerland and Finland have both built extensive nuclear shelters for their population. In Switzerland no house can be built without a nuclear shelter. If we had started building these shelters back in the 1960’s or early 1970’s, and insisting each new house or block of flats had a nuclear shelter built at the point of construction, we would have an extensive nuclear shelter system by now.
