LOST ANCIENT TECHNOLOGY Granite Cutting MACHINE IN ACTION!!

preview_player
Показать описание
'Lost ancient high technology' has become a term given for apparent machined markings on hard stone such as granite at certain ancient sites - with some people believing that they must have been made by machines with a technology that is alien to us even today. In some ways - they are right - but it could be argued that it is in fact 'low' technology. The machined saw marks we see from antiquity can be explained by such machines (also by much simpler methods) - even the apparent circular saw curved striations - these can be made from the pendulum action of the blade, or the wearing out of copper, as shown in this video:

Read the paper at academia website:

To be clear - the demonstration in this video is a first prototype based from a stone relief carving - so they're testing on marble and limestone not granite...see link above for granite cuts found on site.
SERAPEUM lost high tech SOLVED??:
Many thanks for watching. Don't forget to sub and bell for similar content.
Please visit the above link to watch their full movie "Mit Wasser und Sand".
A detailed account of their experiment is google translated in this video.
More info and documents on the saw in this video:
Part 2 features a closer look at Ephesos - I suspect this was a very important pre-Christian and pre-Roman site.

This may show how to cut crude blocks of granite, but how did they cut the granite bowls and vases, something like that would have to be done with a spinning type of drill bit or spinning the stone with a stationary bit like a lathe

The idea of ancient Machine in action needs to explored. Thanks for sharing.

I have a question, this would work fine to cut limestone but don’t you need a diamond tipped saw to cut granite type stone?
Cheers

While doing the cut with this so called ancient machine never finished 1 Block. NOT 1…
The pyramid has 2.5 million blocks all weights ranging from 2 to 5 tons. It wasn’t possible for this machine to have done the work

Amazing vids mate! Amazing quality on this one too! WOW!

This makes more sense over them spending days to cut a couple blocks. I lean more towards believing this than just hand tools, although a chain seems pretty advanced it's actually a no brainer once you've figured out the Cog.

Ancient, 400 AD. Pick one. Mechanism like this in truly ancient times (bronze age, neolithic) would raise more questions than it answers.

how stone cutting like this originally started as recorded by Plinius almost 1, 900+ years ago

But whoever first discovered how to cut marble and carve up luxury into many portions was a man of misplaced ingenuity. The cutting of the marble is effected apparently by iron, but actually by sand, for the saw merely presses the sand upon a very thinly traced line, and then the passage of the instrument, owing to the rapid movement to and fro, is in itself enough to cut the stone. The Ethiopian variety of this sand is the most highly esteemed; for, to make matters worse, material for cutting marble is sought from as far afield as Ethiopia; and, moreover, men go in search of it even to India, which it was once an affront to strict morality to visit even for pearls. The Indian is the next most highly praised, but the Ethiopian is finer and cuts without leaving any roughness. The Indian does not give the stone such a smooth surface. However, people engaged in polishing marble are strongly recommended to rub marble with it when it has been calcined. There is a similar fault in the Naxian sand and in that of Coptos, which is known as the Egyptian variety. These were the kinds used for cutting marble in early times. Later there was discovered an equally valuable sand from a sandbank in the Adriatic which is uncovered only at low tide. Consequently, its position is not easy to mark. Now also fraudulent craftsmen dare to cut slabs with any kind of sand from any river, a waste which very few clients perceive. For in fact the coarser the sand, the less accurate the sections it grinds, the more marble it wears away, and owing to the rough surfaces produced, the more work it leaves for those responsible for polishing the slabs. Hence the cut slabs are made thinner. Again, for polishing marble, sand from the Thebaid is suitable, as well as powder made from limestone or pumice.

Sound and Vision, Top class!!!!
It was all about the power of water and controlling that power. Imagine what you can do if you find a spring at the top of a hill.

Very cool contraption Rob!! I think even China had this sort of water driven technology to run small wooden geared machine shops, very interesting stuff. Now we just have to figure out how they cut stone so precisely at Gobekli Tepe!! Nice presentation Rob!!...;)

Those saws cut way to slow to explain the saw marks we see. They were circular and cut rock like butter cutting 1/4 a inch per rotation.

we did not get to see the result of the saw in the middle of the video ?? -disapointed

This would still leave us with some very tough questions like how where the statues of Faraos in granite shaped ? This example shows cutting, not shaping. From what i've seen from other people's 'manipulation' of materials, i would still tend to think that sound frequency could've been used. This is not 'alien-like' technology, it's just a means to do something which they might have explored to the maximum while we never ever in modern days stopped to think what can be done with the use of frequency.

Keep in mind that they might have used hallucinogenics where often a person can receive moments of 'enlighentment' about stuff such as frequency and how the universe is mostly an expression of energy in the form of frequency.

This is why some of the ancient people had this knowledge, they didn't have the means to study things on a molecular level or the understanding to think in that way.

So there's atleast 3 kinds of people that should come together more often to find awnsers to these questions : People who study the sites, and people who have a tradition in the use of hallu!cinogenics. And then those who DID experiment with sound frequency and have results to show for it ! Do not forget that next to the cutting and shaping of huge megaliths we are also faced with the mystery of how in the hell they moved them or lifted them to higher grounds AND put them in place. And yet another question : Millions of stones were used to build the pyramids, never mind the statues... how long does it take to cut a stone the way it is presented in the video ?

Maybe we could also think that this video should prevent people from trying to find out if there WAS a technology or energy source we could draw from and better our lives, but some intrest group would rather have it we laugh at the very thought and stick with being dependend on energy grid. Call it paranoia, call it common sense...

I love how people are commenting that this is how the Egyptians did Completely ignoring the fact that this is a Byzantine (late Roman Empire) saw using iron blades. Technology few thousand years late for the building of the pyramids.

Using a saw qith sand and water as abrasive would work for cutting straight lines and making types of drills for holes but would still need other tools to make angled cuts like interiors of the black boxes found around egypt. Would need atleast chisel technolgy
