Kevin Holland and Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson are two of the more dynamic strikers in the UFC. But after losing recent bouts against grappling heavy fighters a main event between the two excited both Welterweights. Holland and Wonderboy both joked about not wrestling each other in the lead up towards their fight. But rarely do fans see fighters actually go through with promises about fighting with a particular style. For the most part both fighters ignored takedowns. That is until Holland injured his hand and was forced to attempt wrestling in order to give himself a chance to win. I think Kevin Holland lost zero clout from that loss. It was the fignt the fans wanted and the fans are the cash flow (except me bc who pays for ppv?😂)
