NYCHA May Board Meeting

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) posts its monthly board meeting where its executive team publicly speaks about new and ongoing projects under the administration.

When are they going to fix the things that need to be fixed? When are they going to start? I have a leaky pipe I put a ticket in for it. It did not say when all they said was that they could not do it now.

NYCHA, the public residences where there is a unified and unique system of living facilities and demographic record of residency distribution accommodate more than half-million New Yorkers are the more than two time higher victims of COVID-19 which is suppose to be an example of minimum loss & death penalties due to Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic for reasons and protective services support such as :


1. Residents are extremely secured from family expenditure like rent payment, rent adjustment to a zero-rent, and utility non -payment and much more due to income loss.


2. Unified living facilities and well accommodation services designed near to a century for the need and urgency of residents.


3. Social service departments are quick responders to meet the public needs even in this crisis.


4. Sate and Federal Governments are sympathized and act as a first respondent to these residents than other New Yorkers.


5. Stakeholders are available even within this lockdown to give their service to the NYCHA emergencies.


6. Very clear government instruction & policy -regardless of lockdown, NYCHA was kept and ongoing under essential service.


7. NYCHA has specialized Community Services Program with sub-division for Health Initiatives, Healthy Home Program, Environmental Health and Safety Department, much more government funded program .


So, who drops the ball to raise the death more than twice to non-NYCHA residency facilitated New Yorkers. Definitely the management team has to take the share of responsibility, years after years political choice in leadership selection and nepotism within followers did not allow any talent to grow there, or to get in and survive with NYCHA corruption now gave the price with more than twice death penalties than the other New Yorkers. Are these losses of lives will change the behaviors of game players? Where is NYCHA response to this statistics. Where is NYCHA Health Initiatives, Healthy Home, Environmental Health & Safety Department, where is NYCHA community service to explain it?
