You should watch it again with the English subtitles to see the meaning of the song ... and her commentary at the end about how she put her emotions fully into it. I couldn't help but get a bit misty-eyed, too.

LiSA is just as clean in a live band setting in front of thousands of people.

I don't know how to tell you this, but she's a professional singer long before her song use as an anime ost. So she wasn't an "anime singer" and definitely not an amateur

If you thought LiSA's performance alone in this song made you feel emotional, watch her sing it again but with the subtitled English translation. Impossible to not get misty-eyed from it. Very beautiful song about overcoming pain and loss, and the resolve to keep running toward a brighter future.

A little disappointed you didn't watch it with subtitles.

Lisa got emotional while singing this song because this song is about overcoming grieve. She was reminded about her own painful experience while singing this.

And she's not young singer. She already in her 30s and been singing more than 10 years.

It would be really good to see your reaction to Gurenge by LiSA on the same channel. Its a very different song but demonstrates even more of her amazing voice.

I'm so glad that you reacted to this one. As suggested, there are english captions and as you said that song means a lot to her. But even without them the emotion and feelings are really conveid through that performance. If you have the time, The first take is a gold mine of great vocal and musical performances.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。LiSA looks sad and emotional in this song. If you see - LiSA x Uru Saikai, you will find LiSA's cheerful and bright side in collaboration with another excellent female singer, Uru. You can find it in the same channel "The First Take".

she is not anime singer; she is a regular singer, a pop rock star.

The First Take is an awesome channel featuring many amazing Japanese artists singing their songs in one take. They do it with little preparation and minimal accompaniment.

I would really love to see you react to "Zankyosanka" by "Aimer" also on the "The First Take" channel.
She is basically the antithesis to LiSAs emotion driven singing. Aimer is very reserved, extremely precise and accurate. With LiSA you get the feeling that the song changes a bit every time she sings it, based on her emotional state. Aimer gives off the feelting that the song will sound exactly the same every time she performs it.
She has a rather introverted way of singing and one of the most unique and recognizable voices in J-Pop.
Both of them are in my opinion two of the very best singers in the J-Pop space.

I love her so much. I found her through the series angel beats and was hooked.

I love how people are starting to understand the brilliance of Japanese music

Almost right before Lisa did music for Demon Slayer, she was about to retire. The Japanese are all about perfection, and she had one little voice mess-up and was booed by assholes off stage. She was so upset and felt she should retire anyway. Then we're blessed with her lovely voice for the Demon Slayer series. Lisa is amazing and I'm so glad she kept going!

You can make an analysis of the music of a Brazilian singer called Guilherme de Sá, specifically "Deo Vero" and "Lonely" there he has an incredible vocal technique it is interesting how he makes a roller coaster of tones

I honestly surprised this song was first and not Gurenge from the same channel. LiSA is always amazing it's just that usually reactors listen to Gurenge first. I'm glad you're listening to some more Japanese music and hope you do more of it soon!

Nice to see you listening to LiSA. Could you also take a listen to Gurenge. Every time i hear that song i feel out of breath even though she is the one doing all the singing 😂 Also would love if you could take a listen to stuff from the band Steelheart 😁
