Francis Fovever > Washing Machine Heart

Don’t get me wrong I love both songs a TON I just prefer this one. Actually Washing Machine Heart is my second favorite.

Edit: Wow I did not expect so many people to agree. I actually changed my mind. Me and my husband is my favorite Mitski song.

I’m in love with this song like I can’t stop listening to it 🥰

I remember playing this on loop when I was in a bad place, I would cry over and over because, this song has many meanings, and to me it shows that I've become a stronger person. I've grown plenty now. Though I still feel pain and how much hate and sadness I've strung into the song by myself and my thoughts. But I'm getting better. I really love Mitski's work and hope to become better with time to heal.

This song reminds me of my child self. I would hug myself and tell them it’s okay not to be perfect. I would tell them how proud I am of both of us. I don’t have many memories of when I was younger but those are the things I would do. I miss her so much and I wish I could chat with her.
