My parents were fighting with each other, screaming at each other. I couldn’t stand it. I turned this song up so loud I was sure they could hear it coming from my earphones. So loud I was sure I would come out deaf when the song ended. But it was alright, because it drowned them out. And there was nothing but this song and myself.

Had a pretty bad panic attack over exams today.
Wasn't the first time I had a panic attack, however it was worse than any ive ever had before. Almost 2 hours and i still havent entirely calmed down. The one thing that relaxed me at that very moment was this song. Its nighttime right now, and I just woke up from a nap. I'm feeling so much better now but i really don't think I could've done this without this song.
I will always remember this time, and i will always love this song and mitski. Thank you mitski for making such beautiful and amazing music that has always helped me in some sort of way. You will always be my favorite music artist💙

1:58 one of my fav parts.Even if its just instrumental, it has a lively, nostalgic feeling of childhood i feel like.And the more it accelerates it feels as if you grew up too fast, then it slowly cuts off.Its really intresting, combined with the lyric, as if it was all the moments lost or something.Idk how to describe it, but its a really nice touch from my perspective.

This is my favorite mitski song I like to come here often to listen it brings back great memories of my best friend who has sadly passed away, but I will never forget him. His name was Francis I still remember the day we first met, it was at a petstore of all places but friendships can bloom anywhere. One of his favorite things to do was make fried rice, he his fried rice and I loved it too the way he would work the wok, flames dancing, vegetables flying it would always come out perfectly, some people don't think it's possible for people like him to fry rice but I'll be the first to say hell yeah he fried this rice. He lived near the ocean, one could consider him a diver, he loved hanging around the ocean floor because there would often be little treats for him there. Unfortunately he died doing what he loved, when a secondary consumer ate him. I was the only one there at the funeral considering it was 16000 feet under the sea. Though he's passed I'll keep these memories close to my heart they'll always remind me of all the good times we've had over the years. Thank you Francis, forever, for being the best shrimp a man could ask for.
