Arsenal are going through a pretty severe dip but this habit of constantly mentioning how much Arsenal have spent as if it entitles them to win everything is tiring and lazy.

Arsenal have spent a lot granted but so have every other side. Chelsea have spent big, Utd have spent big, City have spent big, even Spurs have spent big.

If the spending across the teams is consistently high as it has been then mentioning Arsenal’s spend is pretty redundant and shouldn’t be part of the equation if you’re not lambasting rival sides for spending a lot and not winning the ‘major trophies’.
