Rice and Partey are like the midfield version of Gabs and Saliba. Rice is a defensive beast and more a goal threat imo like Gabs. Partey is the rolls Royce, compared to Rice, with the ball and progressive passes and thru balls.

Does Murphy even watch Arsenal? He's saying to Arteta. Rice should play no.6 when Partey is the better player in that role. You can use Rice in no.8 role as he can drive and win balls higher the pitch, which is what he's good at, but dictating play and playing through balls isn't his strength.
