How you write

Thank you Sir .😊 Your videos help me a lot. Sir could you tell me one thing about this question = Integral of 1/[sqrt(x+1)+(x+1)^(1/3)] dx
. In my book they've used the substitution like this t=(x+1)^(1/6) . I'm confused why did they use the power ^1/6?

The answer given is
2(x+1)^(1/2) - 3(x+1)^(1/3) + 6(x+1)^(1/6) - log[(x+1)^(1/6) +1] +C

I'm just confused about this substitution.

No need for integration by parts, let u=e^arctanx / 1+x^2, everything will cancel out nicely
