I love the order of this as it is mostly the way I have operated for years. I always tell new staff that the customer should leave the store at least as happy if not happier than when they came in. Staff get a 30%-50& discount on products we sell, are told to take the time off to study if they need to and new father's get 1-2 weeks off as they choose to spend time together as a new family. Obviously, there is a lot more involved here but it sure makes for loyal and happy staff even though we are in retail and certainly can't pay a fortune for wages.

This video ignores the solopreneur or a small business owner that is only supported by an admin staff. The reality is before you can afford a team you will need to be drafting the SOPs and processes and then invite future talent to enhance them. Nevertheless, being customer minded and potential employee minded while drafting these as a solopreneur is great advice. Not everyone can come out the gate with a team however and its unwise to put drafting SOPs and processes off until then
