I had a dermoid cyst removed three weeks ago, had a torsian of the ovary because of it. So they removed it the same day, and also twisted the ovary back, it was also the day I found out I had one, i'm 31 years old. They made a picture of of it. Saw it the next day (I asked if I could see it) it was still on my belly when they made the picture, it was a mature dermoid cyst, 9 by 5 centimeters.

I have one of these little friends on my ovary. It’s only .6 cm but doc says to remove it because I’m 50 and it could turn cancerous. Looks like I’m going for a hysterectomy for that and endometrial hyperplasia. Ugh….😢

Hello, i have a dermoid cyst of 5 cm and the doctor said that the cyst included my ovary. Is this possible?
If yes and if it is included, can be taken out only the cyst and not also the ovary?

I just had 10cm ovarian dermoid cyst removed. They also took out the ovary which I guess was in bad shape. I'm only 19.
