Hello and welcome to powerpoints to help you with your OCR FSMQ Course. This is a course that I'm teaching at my school to a group of Year 11's and thought it might be worth uploading the resources that I use. PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT a qualified teacher and am merely doing this for fun and may not be the best teacher in the world! My teacher at school originally created the powerpoints and I have tweaked them to suit my style and put my own swing on things.

this is the first ocr fsmq video i have seen by you and honestly it has made polynomials so much clearer! i'm in year 11 right now and because only a few are doing this extra maths course we have to learn it independently in our class and i was seriously considering to ask not to do it anymore because reading through a book is the hardest way to learn for me and i need someone to actually explain to me how to do something first and as my teacher has to help the rest of the class with their normal maths, i'm sitting in the corner not knowing what i am doing so thank you so much for these and i will use this and your other videos to help me :)

I have always hated long division so I found there was another way of doing it.
(x + 2) also equals x=-2
Therefore by knowing this we can use (-2) and replace it with 'x

If u put this into the calculator you will get ' -5 !
