Can’t say enough about the Boss ds-1. The simplicity and icon can’t be beat.

The slow with the iron horse was just an insanely good tone

My Revv G3 will never leave my board. It covers so much ground for OD/Distortion. I love how tight it can be, but I put an EQD Plumes (usually on the Asym clipping setting) in front of it for extra hair if needed. It is a wonderful pairing, if I do say so myself. The Plumes will also give any OD pedals a run for their money.

Favorite pedal(s) (couldn’t choose just one obviously)🤠:

1) MR. BLACK — “double chorus”
~ it gives your sound a widening effect that feels like stereo and has that texture but with a modulation that is so lush and intense that the flavor of the tone is fresh and articulate every single time it’s clicked on. Love it.

2) EHX — “hot wax”
~ I actually don’t do backflips over the second channel of this pedal, as it is a two channel box. Its basically 2 drives in 1= the green side being the “ehx crayon” (my favorite drive pedal ever), the red side being the “hot tubes”.
Both channels sound awesome but the crayon has this charisma and understated texture that is just so original sounding and unique to the person playing through it. Love it love it.

And finally 3) *a pedal I’ve never owned actually……the BOSS “super phaser”
~ this pedal, essentially, is Mike Einziger’s (Incubus) go-to phaser pedal al a tracks like “pardon me” and “are u in?”——It’s just amazing, chewy, lush, and gritty. A perfect blend of originality and classic phaser goodness. It’s just great musical fun. Love it love it love it.

That’s all I got! Rock on brother! 🤘🏼😎🔥🔥

Electro-Harmonix's Metal Muff is my personal favorite distortion pedal. The way you can make it produce totally different tones with slight adjustments makes it very versatile, and it's so fun to stomp on the Top Boost switch and go nuts.

I don’t own any pedals but unironically I love the metal zone due to its kick ass tone when in the fx loop, such a surprise since you rarely see distortion in the back

I've played guitar for many many years but I can say I've only gotten really serious over the past few years. And what do you know, on the same week I'm building a pedalboard Tyler uploads something like this

Boss CE-2. It just gives you anything you want from chorus pedal, main sound is just so recognizable, it makes your tone grittier while still preserving that smoothness... still the best chorus there ever was.

MXR Sub Machine. Having a pedal that's a fuzz with a sub octave knob, octave up switch, and a button for shifting in or out of phase is amazing

EVH phase 90

It was my first pedal, and it’s the easiest to use and instantly brings up that EVH sound. I suck at dialing in pedals and never get much out of overdrives or delays or all those fancy digital pedals. Give me the simple little red striped box and I’m happy.

Either the Strymon Deco because of how many sounds I have gotten out of it that I absolutely love! I bought it for the tape saturation and slapback but I am constantly finding new stuff on it. The magnetic doubling sound is so awesome.

But honestly every pedal on my board is my favourite that's why it's on the board.

Digitech Whammy gen5: the best all-in-one pedal. An amazing octaver, chorus and pitch shifting machine that can make any guitar sound like a synth. A very inspirational tool. What more do you need?

Boss CE-2W I had a CE2 when I was a younger. Can’t find it at my parents house anymore. Also had a Morley wah/volume/distortion. Loved it too.

My Walrus Julia is such an inspiration machine and it's my favorite by far, but one type of pedal I think is really underrated is acoustic simulators. Even if you're not going for an actual acoustic sound, they're so good at bringing out trebly sparkle with single coils and get such a unique vibe. Really great if you want a particularly bright and jangly guitar element/texture to pop out in a mix.

I got massive Goosebumps when you put on both of the walrus pedals.

I love my Way Huge Swollen Pickle (and I just like saying that too). It's a great fuzz pedal- dial it back to heavy distortion or crank it up for the perfect 60's and 70's big afro fuzz tone. Sustain so long you need a calendar to measure it. I don't use it nearly enough, but when I do it's just glorious.

My favorite pedal is the Friedman BE-OD. It does a pretty good job of emulating a BE100. It is my go to OD pedal. The only thing with it is that it isn’t super versatile, as I basically only does 1 thing (massive overdrive), but it does it so well that it doesn’t really have to do anything else.

The Stone Deaf PDF -2 will never leave my board. It's my 'always on' pedal, giving my amp a little push and giving me some precise tone shaping options. It's also great when I want to kick on some extra gain with its dirty side. I can't recommend it enough.
