The death toll from the wildfire has risen to 99 and the governor of Hawaii believes the number could double as more of the affected area is searched.

I don't understand why the coast guard and nearby military not able to response for the rescue? I won't believe they didn't know there was wildfire on Maui. Shouldn't these units on alert to their nearby surrounding all the times? No wonder the Japanese could have a surprise attack at Pearl Harbor during WWII.

The marines there on Maui are to be ready in 30 min to help people but no one ever bothered. The president responded after 6 hours - by then everyone was dead. Children bussed back home from school, and actually left alone since parents were still at work with no warnings of fires, and just burned alive; those on the island saying it's truly 1000+ killed. They receive $700 per family; those crossing border receive $2000.

IMHO, It is quite the 'coincidence' that developers are now attempting to purchase the land that the burned-out houses once stood on already and they're in a quite a rush to do so as well. To me, the sudden onset of fires 'mysteriously' starting all makes perfect sense now. In fact, if I were a betting man, I'd bet that those fires were started for the sole purpose of making money via a land grab scheme. Perhaps someone should begin an investigation into that and check the bank accounts of these 'developers' to see who made recent deposits into their business accounts. And while you are at it, check out any video surveillance of the public businesses and personal homeowners. Have the fire department do some in-depth arson investigations. And if I were the government of the 'blue' State of Hawaii, I'd make it public and I would do so fast before the news and the general public begin to smell a rat! Follow the money; Find the corruption; Get the answers; Report the results!!!!
