She's the kind of person, thousands of years ago, that carried us to where we are now. Read the signs; move appropriately. Great interview.

I completely understand the reasoning here. I really enjoyed living in Asheville before I was transferred.

Hopefully some GOP politicians will have to move too, finally realising that climate change is not a hoax.

They’ve certainly changed Eugene - not for the good. It’s more crowded, more cars, less bikes, and more gross McMansions in our forested areas- after they cut all the trees of course. We get the CA transplants who can work remotely and cash out on their houses.

Check the water level in Lake Powell, Utah and Lake Mead, Nevada. It does NOT look good. I'm in Vegas but I might be heading back to the Great Lakes.

It starts with common sense. Turn the light off when you leave a room. Recycle metals. Use reusable bottles. Food shop at farners markets. Compost your food waste. Use logistical common sense when you run errands to put less miles on your car.

Sadly I think the chance of countries rich and poor cooperating and sacrificing for the sake of the planet is a shot. Layer in we need corporations to work together as well and she makes more sense.

Same reason why people leave California after a big earthquake.
Simple risk management.

If too much of the population moves to particular cities, that alone is going to stretch all kinds of community resources including housing and food prices. Look at Boise ID, it is a definite effect.
