FIRST LOOK: NEW Top Gear

In an early sequence from the new series, Paddy tries to convince Freddie and Chris that the ultimate second-hand family car is, in fact, a hearse.

Spacious, carefully driven, very cheap. So they buy a 1995 Daimler hearse for £1,300, carry out some not-so-subtle modifications (lots of power, lots of blue paint) and head to a Welsh rally course to put the newly-dubbed ‘Undertaker’ through its paces. Things, predictably, don’t go according to plan.

Top Gear returns to BBC Two this summer. Probably.

Dear BBC,

You fired the man who created what we all know as the "New Top Gear", and with him, you lost this kind of infotainment he came up with. That guy with the other two does that for someone else. Get over it and don't copy them, because you have been failing miserably.
