I’ll take this over a Model X in a heartbeat, especially because of the interior, Tesla’a interiors look very cheap and basic, especially with that big ass screen in the middle, the I Pace’s interior looks amazing, plus the design is amazing as well.

After considering both a Tesla Model 3 and the Jaguar I-Pace, I choose the I-Pace because first it is a much better build car than the Model 3 (and probably any Tesla). The real life range of the I-Pace is somewhere between a M3 SR and M3 LR which is good enough for 99% of my driving (around 700-900 km per week). Apart from some little software glitches now and then (the Eco Data screen sometimes shows average speed in Mph instead of Km/h for a time before correcting itself, the car has been flawless. No issues whatsever, no rattles, no squeaks. Excellent seats, good visibility, very sporty ride (although suspension could be firmer for me).
And yes, the I-Pace uses more than a Model 3 or Kona or Niro, but that really isn't surprising. A sporty car with a V8 will also consume more than a economy car like a VW Polo. What would you expect? If you don't like that, buy the Polo.
So, here, a happy owner (for the record, the car is mine, not a company leased car) and enjoying the I-Pace.

IPace looks small but when when the river stood next to it, its rather large. I am not too crazy about door handles that pop out, it is gimmicky and one more thing to break. The physical buttons inside are great. It’s a fantastically good looking car.

Great review, & what a car! Love the looks with the short bonnet and short overhangs. A lot of other EV’s will follow this design. Tesla’s look so dated in comparison. Nice work jaguar!

It's a real Tesla competitor for sure, but Tesla have still got the Supercharger network on their side. They make the entire experience of owning an EV convenient and easy, whereas other EVs have to make do with the UK's shockingly bad, fragmented and frustrating charging infrastructure - but that will change itself within the next few years. 2019/2020 will see an enormous shift towards EVs.

Why no mention at all about the interier space in the back and even open the boot?? I heard it has a 3rd less trunk space as the model X

Strange how this was a proper test drive and good review of an electric car compared to when they did the Tesla Model 3 few weeks ago which they slagged off.
