CV Tools in Max4Live does an amazing job of controlling a vintage synthesiser that doesn't respect the 1v per octave or standard trigger values of most modern synths.
Here I use 'CV Instrument' to play my Buchla via midi, then I sync the Verbos 247 Buchla Sequencer using CV Tools 'CV Out'.
