very nice. I ordered a few dropper bottles myself from my local airbrush store after seeing one of your other vids using your dropper bottles. It's really handy and a lot less messy than usually.

Will you also be doing a video on topcoats? Gloss and flat? I'm very curious to see what you use.

I didn't know the guru himself used an airbrush?! Nice to you you watching buddy.

Yes thats fine and I do that as well. Just test the bottle first because lacquer thinner is a lot stronger than acrylic so it might eat into the bottle a bit.

Yeah they are easy to open up. I used to put ball bearings in the little paint tins. Now that I prethin all my paint I find shaking them is fine.

Hey Mate !! Could you tell me if it is possible to put little metal mixing beads in Vallejo Paints. I guess what i need to know is, is it possible to take the top off a bottle of vallejo model color ? I am thinking about picking up 30 or so Beads but i'm not sure if i can get those little beads into the bottle. Having that little rattle inside REALLY helps it get properly mixed much faster than sturing with a toothpick.

I like the revell ones because they are both cheaper and bigger in size. Some are glossy and they do metalic too. They whole point of this video though is that you dont have to stick with what colours they give you, nor should you be limited to what selection they have in the shop. Just mix colours together to get any colour / tone / shade that you want.

hi, i see have the revell acrylic paints (the one in a cube shape paint pot) are they any good compared to the tamiya and are they glossy or flat because the modelzones in london don't have the model color paints except from lakeside and they have a lot more variety of colours for gundam than tamiya flat.

So can u use GW paints in an airbrush if u thin the paint out with water

Yes the model air are fine as normal paint, the only reason you wouldn't is because they are more expensive. The GW paint should be fine to airbrush as long as you use some acrylic thinner to water them down. Is it a problem spraying them or you mean you dont like the airbrushed finish with them?

Hi Greenday0050, Thanks for your video, its cool tip of organizing paint, but some question i wanna ask you. Can i do the same with lacquer paint? for example i use mr hobby color 10ml bottle, can i mix all the paint with thinner then put it all into the empty box like your video. Is that affect on the quality of color?

I've been following you for a little bit now and i just bought an airbrush I was wondering if you buy your bottles online or not, i haven't been able to find any dropper bottles on amazon or anything like that. anyway, keep up the great work, and thanks for uploading these tutorials for everyone!

Could I give you a little tip to help with the remixing of the paints that have separated over time in the dropper bottles. Add a clean 10mm nut to the bottle before you push the dropper top in. This will help get all of the pigment properly mixed in with the thinner and allows a more even mix overall.

I have done this with my Vallejo paints, the tops come off easy, just push the tip to one side and put your fingernail underneath the tip to help pry it off. I got small 4mm faceted glass beads on ebay, about 200 for a couple £/$

Yes you can use water since they are acrylic paints. But I find I get much better results if you use acrylic thinner instead of water.

Hi, u confused me. i bought a lot of Vellejo Model and Air paint from grailist. I was told the Air was ready to be use on a airbrush BUT Vellejo model color is not. I was told to thin it. I thought u was going to explain that u just show it.. i also got a bunch of Model Master paint.. do you know the ratio or i have to go by the milk ratio. i heard it supposed to look like 2% milk.

Yes I'll do more detail on those when I get to the final stages of this build. If you watch MG Sinanju part 3 then you will see me explaining what gloss coats I'm using atm.

Yes or use acrylic thinner. It just needs to flow well.

Do you have issues with the paint going bad when mixed?  Over months?
