The kids nowadays do some crazy shit on their acoustics. I can't do any of it yet I was still asked to show you a guitar that CAN do those styles... be prepared for some embarrassment.

I really liked how that magnetic pickup sounded. 😊 When I was younger 😂 the common term we used for artificial harmonics "on the streets" was flageolet. I looked up some cool kids (you mentioned Polyphia 👀) who brought a modern twist to the techniques. My first reaction to the music was that it was heavily influenced by classical guitar repertoire and playing style, which is nothing wrong with that, with a modern approach to it in terms of sound and composing. Great job Henning! PS. : I was flabbergasted by this Weekend's content 😂... "because quality". I'm still confused by it 😂.

I loved this video! I have never laughed so much while watching a review of a guitar. I was laughing with you, (not at you) as you fooled around and had fun. I enjoyed it that much I finally subscribed to your channel. I really enjoyed this review. Keep them coming and don't be afraid to have fun.

Thanks for switching Leslie.

My first acoustic was an Ibanez. I played all 10 that were in the shop and picked out the one I liked best. I still miss that guitar. I’ll have to check out this acoustic electric beastie, and ask if Andy McKee can teach me to beat the bajeseus out of it properly.

I'm glad my attempts at modern percussive acoustic playing are about as good as yours Henning 😂😂😂😂

As far as plugging an output chord: fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three, four, five times… look in a mirror for the problem, it’s not Ibanez.
The two pickups going out individually sounds awesome 👍

piezo transducers have come such a long way - still remember the 70's fighting a Barcus Berry chiclet pickup on the bridge's treble side and hope the putty didn't fall off during a song.

You can also use acoustic guitar IRs from 3 sigma audio to enhance your piezo sound, way cheaper. Don't believe me? Ask Adam Steel.

Still sounded pretty damn good to me. I lost it when you banged the guitar on your head. It’s definitely “Frank-able” lol

Knock on wood! This high end guitar is for people who have not heard of the drum programming course, or are at a campfire ;‐)
I had a Jampack for 10 years until the bridge came off. Just in the middle of Covid I wanted to upgrade to a nice $400 full acoustic dreadnought, but both Ibanez and Yamaha had no stock in shops of the type I was looking for (natural top, no cutaway, neck binding, no pickup), so finally I chose a Tanglewood Java and I'm happy with that.
I still have an Ibanez 12 string, which was bang for bucks, considering I will only play it now and then.

Direct into a small home studio, I can see its uses...
Although, I have never seen you handle a 12 string, much less talk about them.
So could I be so bold to make a request for you to fondle one in the future.
Hope all is well.
Much Aloha to you and the Mrs.

Hi Henning... I've tried so many acoustic guitars and never connected... till my Washburn WCG55CEO, solid Koa top, back, and sides Fishman. For $800 used, like new, what is it about Koa have You ever Played one next to a Sitka?? Troy from Atlantic City

If anyone taps on any guitar it’s a sign they may be desperate for approval.
